They've arrived.
I have officially finished this website as of Sunday night; sorry I didn't finish sooner but I was, you know, studying for finals. I really need to get some more sleep, though. *Yawns*
This week is going to be really stressful, but at least today is over and hopefully you were able to get one or two of your exams out of the way. Think of it this way: you get to go home for the summer (73 days) after you finish your last exam on Thursday, or Friday for some of you. Yay!
I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait to get some quality sleep, catch up on a few TV series, hit the beach, and relax. I'm going to be doing some volunteer work and, of course, summer homework, but that is unavoidable. So be it!
I really want to try and get some stuff done this summer. Last summer I started out all like "I'm going to practice my math and read my books and volunteer this summer!" That work ethic sort of died out after about a week. This summer is going to be different, though. Sophomore year is going to be bad enough as it is, so I want to make sure I'm at least vaguely prepared and want to build my resume a little. I might be volunteering at a science summer camp for little kids as the assistant to the director, so that should be fun. (Time to get my nerd on! Woo!)
In addition, I just want to say again that if you are taking Computer Applications or Constitutional Foundations (Cofo) right now, you will find those classes in the midterms section. I did really well in those classes, so you can trust that the information is useful. On a separate but sort of related note, try to write a readable and, if possible, interesting essay for your Cofo teacher, most likely Miss Halloran. She has to read SO MANY "How a Bill Becomes a Law" essays every year, especially this semester since she has, I think, five sections of Cofo. Either write well or choose the Articles of Confederation essay (or write well AND choose that one). That essay really isn't that bad - I sort of had fun with it. I had planned to write the Bill to Law essay like everyone else, but when I got to the essay section, I realized that I had a lot of time to write since I had zoomed through the rest of the exam. I decided to be a rebel and chose the Articles of Confederation essay, on which I got ALL of the points, so don't rule that option out. I hadn't even planned for it - I really just pulled up what I could remember about the topic, applied some argumentative skills, and ran away with it. It was sort of fun, to be honest. (Sorry, I'm a bit of a nerd.) :D
Anyways, finals week will be over before you know it and then it will be summer! Don't stress so much and try to get some sleep. Your average will be fine as long as you don't fail, so don't fail, okay? Okay. I believe in you guys! You can do it! Let's all not fail! Yay!
Study hard, sleep more, and stress less. You'll do fine; it's never as bad as you think it's going to be. Good luck and have a great summer, guys! If you have any comments or questions for me, please feel free to put them in the comments section of this post or to email me at the address at the top of the page (it's in really small print: look hard).
Bye for now!
